Description
  1. Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
  2. Assist the principal in the general administration of the school and assume the role and responsibility for the principal in his/her absence as assigned.
  3. Assist in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deal with special cases as necessary.
  4. Direct and supervise the athletic program. This includes transportation, officials, eligibility lists, finances, crowd control, and paperwork.
  5. Administer school rules regarding attendance.
  6. Assist in the selection of school personnel.
  7. Assist in the evaluation of classified and certified staff.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
  9. Establish goals and objectives bases on analysis of student achievement data.
  10. Help with curriculum alignment, instructional strategies and implementation.
  11. Assist in the master schedule for students.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. A minimum of a master’s degree in an educational area.
  2. State of Arizona administrative certification.
  3. A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
  4. Valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card 
  5. Specific administrative experience through internship and/or previous employment.
  6. No convictions for felonies or crimes against children

  2. Effective educational leadership in the profession though membership and participation in the community and in the professional organizations as well as activities with students, teachers, community and individual projects.

  5. Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and student body.
  6. Forward-looking in educational views and evidence of a willingness to accept change.
  7. Demonstrated competence in planning and developing educational facilities.
