Thank you for your interest in becoming a Substitute Teacher with Higley Unified School District!
Higley Unified School District utilizes Educational Services, Inc. (ESI) to provide quality substitute teachers for all of our students. HUSD substitute teachers are W-2 employees of ESI but work on-site at the HUSD schools of their choice and have the support of both ESI and our own HUSD Substitute Specialist.
Once you have completed all application requirements, ESI will notify the HUSD Substitute Specialist that you are ready to start. If you have questions on the ESI application process please contact ESI at 480.719.3271 or hr@esiaz.us.
HUSD Certified Substitute Pay
Monday or Friday
Full Day (over 4 hours): $185.00/day
Half Day (4 hours of less): $92.50/day
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
Full Day (over 4 hours): $165.00/day
Half Day (4 hours or less): $82.50/day
Long Term Position: Days 1-20: $165.00/day. Starting Day 21: $185.00/day.
